(Story tiem)"I'm bored." Russ noted, which was quickly shushed by Lee. "Shut up, I'm trying to watch this movie." Cerberus sighed. While most girls romantic movies were limited to things such as The Notebook (or anything pertaining to Nicholas Sparks), Lee's one romantic weakness was Pride and Prejudice - And not even the 2 hour one. The lengthly 4 hours epic of a mini series.
"You can always leave if you're bored." She mumbled. God, she wasn't even blinking. He'd been around 11 (in demon years) during the 1800s. He'd seen this kind of stuff back when they were everyday happening, and he knew this sort of thing was a fairytale in the standards of the time period. He would of gladly pointed this out - but he had the feeling he'd be ignored.
"Fine. Be boring." Nonchalantly, he laid down on the couch, placing his head on her lap. "... What are you doing." She didn't even say it like she was embarassed. Just weirded out. Which she was. "I'm tired." He simply stated, closing his eyes. Usually Lenore would have either berated him, or stared at him with an annoyed expression, but Pride and Prejudice was on. She wasn't going to waste her time with him for now.
She let him lay in her lap for about an hour. He heard her quote lines under her breath, giggle at certain (completely unfunny) lines, until there was a click of the remote control. Silence. "Are you really asleep?" Lee felt dumb asking the question, but as he remained quiet, she took it for a yes.
"Stupid Cerberus" She smiled, lightly brushing the back of her hand over his hair. "Now I can't move."
"Am I loud and clear or am I breaking up?" Lenore began to sing (not very loudly, only mediocre... ly) . She hated the silence, but it's not like she could do anything with a demon sleeping on her lap.
"Am I still your charm or am I just bad luck?
Are we getting closer, are we just getting more lost?
I'll show you mine if you show me yours first
Let's compare scars I'll tell you whose is worse
Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words"
He knew he should probably get up, but he'd never felt so comfortable.
"We live on front porches and swing life away
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I'll slave 'til the end
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand..."
