(Story tiems :X btw, I'm changing them to 42. Anyone who's read hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy will get it.)"Is... Is that the Effel Tower?"
Lee pointed wide eyed at the historic landmark. Russ shrugged "Hm. Perhaps I overshot that by a little bit." Lee's eyes flashed in annoyance - "A LITTLE. HM. SURE. Try a different COUNTRY!" Dammit, she had just asked for him to open a rift to the mall, but of course, Russ always found it nessecary to go completely beyond whatever little simplistic thing she asked of him.
"... France has better shopping anyways." He noted in his defense. As predicted, she only got more annoyed. "We're in Paris - and all you can think about is going to some ridiculous American mall." This lead to a barrage of practical reasons why being in Paris was stupid in the current situation. One, When they had rifted from her home in America, it had been 4 o'clock. That meant it was 1 in the morning in Paris. Nothing was open anyways. Second, the only words she knew in French was "hello", "I love you", "goodbye", and "foot" ("which is pied" she informed her companion) - hardly practical for travelling around a foreign country not knowing an ounce of the native tongue - especially since she was American. Third, they didn't have nearly enough money to pay for anything here - "Ya know, with the conversions so high from Euros to Dollars".
Russ smirked "Really, you worry far too much". Before Lee could berate him again, he continued. "I'm fluent in French, as I am approximately 24 others, and money is never a problem with me. Besides, I'd think you'd be happy to be here. You yourself said you wanted to see the world."
Lee scowled, still annoyed. "And what person doesn't want to see the Eiffel Tower at night, at least once? No?" Lee's expression faltered - All of the above was true... She really did want to see the Eiffel Tower at night... eating a nutella crepe, next to the river... she sighed, admitting defeat. "Fine. Just to see the Eiffel Tower, and maybe get a crepe. Then we're going back. We need to practice anyways. The mall can wait."
Russ chuckled - Humans were ridiculous. Especially this one. "Why can't you just say you're happy?" Lee grumbled, and continued to scowl. And so they continued down the sidewalk towards the glimmering tower of the Paris skyline.
