& I don't like myself

One thing I hate about summer is it gives me too much time to think. Which therefore leaves alot of emo posts, since well... let's just say I don't see myself as a good person.

I wish I could just run, you know? I don't want a location. Just some place where I can see the stars at night. I want to feel the breeze in my face as I dash away from everything that I want to leave behind. This confusion which seems to plague me at every turn I make. Maybe if I run fast enough, it won't follow me anymore.

I want to lay in the tall grass on a beautiful clear night, and look and the stars. And stop thinking.
I think I should tell you, as I have just realized it: I'm not a very trusting person. I don't tell people the things that really bother me, at least anymore. I think I'm scared to let it out, because I know the people who are my friends know things that I don't. They know the story that I want to know, and it drives me insane with confusion not to know. But they know more than I ever will. And when you find out, or you get hints about that story, you piece it together yourself. You may be wrong, but all you know is that they know and you don't. You want to throw up, and you want to just... run.

I wish I could fly too.

I would just levitate up, and away I'd go. I'd fly around the world, with the wind & the birds as my only companions. And as the sun would set, I'd watch it fall as the wind blows behind me. I'd be safe for once. Safe from myself, and safe from everyone else.

I wish I was numb when it came to liking people.

Then I just wouldn't. None of the bullcrap that I'm wishing right now would be null and void. Well, maybe I'd still wish for them, but I'd have different reasons.

Someone just tell me what's going on. Before I start telling myself what is. And that's never pretty. Believe me.

Weird Dreams are weird.

No icon since I'm in Florida right now. But I really need to talk about the last two dreams I had.

Dream numba 1:
So apparently Tony and I were going to Ben P's house. He was driving, and he had to stop at his house for some reason. Let's just say his family were lego people. So we finally get to Ben's house, and he has a buzz cut & a stubble beard. And we all laugh at Ben's haircut. :D

Then the next part of the dream, me and Risu were going to Ben's house. Which is somehow down the street from Boots' house. So we're at his house, waiting for him to come and hang out with him. His house kind of looks like the San Diego mission. Except built of lego blocks or something. So anyways, I'm looking down on the scene to see Ben P with really really really long curly hair, wearing a cadet hat. He kind of looked like a hippie. It was also quite amusing. That's all I can remember.

Dream numba 2:

This one's more vague. I just remember Madonna and John Lennon were in it... and it was famous people killing people that were close to other celebrities. But then there was some... go back in time thing, and the celebrities who's loved one's were killed got the chance to kill the other before they killed their loved ones. I remember John Lennon was saved. Someone was strangling Madonna, and then it turned out they were strangling me.

And then I woke up.

I don't know. It was the first dream I woke up crying to. Or I think I did.

I've got a lot to learn. Like to not feel so sad when a fictional character dies.

For some reason, stuff like that, always gets to me. I don't care if their death had some 'meaning'or whatever the fuck they call it. Do you know what death is? It's when someone's gone. Forever. All your left with is the broken memories, which you have to piece back together as the world spins on, whether you like it or not.

I wonder how many people I know went to funerals where they actually cried at. Or collapsed with grief when they found someone they cared about was no longer in this world. And then had to keep the world from knowing, because you know they have their own problems. Your left to mourn by yourself, in the darkness of the night, when no one can hear or see you.

It's hard. Do you know how many people close to me have passed on? 4. I've only been to 2 of their funerals. I hate funerals. You look in the casket and you don't see your loved one. They look like wax dolls, not even real. Not at all how you remember them. Sometimes, the people you barely know, you cry the hardest over. They're fleeting memories - and your left to wonder if you could have said anything to them that could make them stay, that could make them happy at least one last time.

What I also hate is when people say their sorry for your loss. Perhaps they are. But even then, the words seem so empty. And how when you go to their house, and you still expect them to yell at you for going into their room, or to greet you when you get there. But then you remember that they won't anymore. And everytime you go there, it's the same. You just comprehend that they're really gone.

And yet life goes on. Everyday, you continue on with your life, trying to live it the best you can. But sometimes, it comes back to you... that fleeting feeling of melancholy as you remember the past and ones who are gone.

I think the only one's who ever really see me cry now are my stuffed animals. I used to cry all the time in grade school. I learned that much at least.

When will I ever learn.

Story tiem

M looked in the mirror, at the face she had known as long as she's remembered.

"Why do you keep running away?" It was her, but not her, standing behind her. She could see 2 people in the mirror, but she knew if she turned around, nothing would be there.

"What do you mean?" M says, looking down at the sink below her.

"You know what I'm talking about." Her doppelganger said a matter o factly. "You always run. When your guy friends do things that you don't expect, that destroys your routine, you get scared. Why do you worry so much over this dumb stuff anyways? Why are you so scared?"

"Do you know what it's like?" M said. "To be cared about one second, and the next, poof. The world you know is gone and your stuck in the limbo. You've fallen down a cliff, and you've got to climb you're way back up. Last time I fell, it took me a whole year. And you know what I remember about that time? Almost nothing. It's like a lost a chunk of my life that I can never get back. What if it's the same this time? Or the time after that? I'm scared I'm going to waste my life away..."

"You ARE wasting your life away!" the doppelganger snapped. "We both know your sick and tired of trying to run. Why don't you just let it flow and see how it goes? Stop pushing away your chance at happiness. What if he turns out to be the one for you? You never know til you stop running and start living!"

"... I can't." M sighed, rubbing her temples. "It's not that simple. I just can't stop. It's all I've ever known. And what if I don't like where this is leading anyways? I want to stop it. Because we both know what would come of it. I would say no."

"... Why?" The doppelganger asked, disatisfied with her answer.

"Because. I can handle heartbreak now. It hurts, but I can deal with it now. I've learned the hard way. But some people haven't. I can't just turn my back on that, you know? I can deal with crying in my closet for a few days and then be done with it. But some aren't."

"But what if that makes him unhappy?" M finally looked up at her reflection & her doppelganger.

"Look at me. Do you seriously think that would even be a possibility? I'm not pretty in any sense. Why would any one ever consider this?"

"Because they love you." The doppelganger said. "They will just love you."

"It's so simple isn't it? Because they love me." M laughs, and stares into the mirror. "Like I'd ever be able to do that."

So my junior year came to a conclusion today at 12:35.

It's weird. This year has been a whole lot of up and downs. Looking back, it was a pretty swell year. I'm glad I lived it the way I did.

So the seniors are gone. The guys I've known and loved for the past few years are going off into the big bad word and becoming big things. It makes me feel a little small, and really sad.

It's kind of funny. The one I will miss the most is Jimmy. I've known him... a third as long, but I'm going to miss him so much. Him, Yang & Michael. I love them alot and I hope... they end up happy. Fuck the money, I hope they're happy. ^^

I hope someone misses me when I leave Westview. I hope someone misses me.

I love my seniors. I will love those guys til the end of the time. Thank you for making these past 3 years that much greater. Thanks for all the laughs, the tears, and the life that you've made awesome just by being in.

I think the majority of girls are the same when it comes to what makes them happy with a boy.

Yes, they want to be swept off their feet. But I don't think all of them want grand gestures that show their love for them.

Or at least, I know I'd want to shoot the guy in the face if he ever did something like that. It's embarassing and over the top & tasteless.

For me personally, I guess I'm a romantic. Or at least my dad says so. I don't know. I mean, I don't like compliments. They feel fake and unreal. Like that people are trying to get into your good favors using pretty words.

But when someone says I'm "extraordinary", I'm happy. It's weird. I seem to think of myself as a bore who is so ordinary it's funny. I guess it's nice to know someone thinks I'm different.

I like conversations too. You know, the ones that flow in and out of topics. The mindless ones, the deep ones; it makes for a good relationship.

I don't know. I really want to go read a kid's book or something.

Don't stop believing~

"No one deserves me." She says it with upmost certainty - as if the words could block bullets and remain unscathed in a nuclear bombing. "No one ever will." Her face is blank, yet her eyes are cold, almost sad.

"Why does no one deserve you?" He asked. It was better than asking what he was thinking; "Why don't I deserve you?"

"Because." She breathed in. The calm before the storm. And what a storm came.

"No one deserves me because I deserve no one. It's the facts of my life. I always love the things I shouldn't, and love them in ways that no other human being could possibly understand and love in return. Don't say it's not true. Because it is. And I'm sick of people telling me it's not.

"I'm not some goddamn princess. I'm just the dumb girl who reads too many books and who can't say anything right. I'm never going to fall into the stupid messes I make. Just clean them up and move on. That's all I've learned. No one's been worth it for me to change."

Her gaze is transfixed on the ground. She can't look at him anymore. This is dumb, stupid, every single bad word she can think of forms in her brain as to describe this situation. She saw it coming in the back of her mind; a delusional dream that made her paranoid, made her watch her back. Why did it come down to this?

He straightened. His tone completely serious: "Now listen to me. I won't repeat myself, so listen good."

"Look at me." She didn't want to. No, she just couldn't. She knew what she'd do if she did.

"Look. At. Me." The sterness in his voice made her look up slightly, as tears were welling up in her eyes. Here comes the rain. She hated crying. She looked terrible when she cried.

"I know you don't like figuring people out. But I think I've just got about figuring you out.

"You really want to be loved. But your scared. Your so scared, you build up a wall and hope someone will try to climb over it. And when they do, you start to scream. Because your stuck in some bubble. You think that no one can. So you run away. And the problem is, no boy has been smart enough to try and chase you. Dumb fools if you asked me.

"Because I swear to... I don't know, I swear too whatever the hell you want me to, that I will run after you. I've climbed that wall, and I'll run after you, I'll do everything I have to if it gives me one chance with you. Because you are worth it.

"Stop thinking that you aren't because you are. Now don't start up again with all this bull shit. I just want one thing answered. I just need one word. One word and I'll take of running after you anyways. Answer this: Do you feel anything for me?"

She's crying now. Oh how she hates crying. She doesn't know whether the tears are of happiness or sadness, maybe its both. She doesn't care anymore. Let him see me ugly, she thought.

"Yes. And that's why I have to push you away. Because I feel the same, that's why I have to push you away."
