So I finished Eden of the East today. MY GOD, what an amazing anime. I didn't know it was considered a shojo though, haha. It was only 11 episodes, so extremely short, with 2 movies. The first movie, King of Eden already came out in Japan, and the second movie coming out on the 13th of March (Lucky bastards. If I understood any Japanese, I'd go to Japan just to watch it. D:<)Yeah, I loved this anime. It was very suspensful and gripping, with some giggly moments, darkness, loveable characters, and did I mention an EXTREMELY GRIPPING STORYLINE? You just can't stop watching once you get into. I'd even skip the closing credits, which I loved, just to get to the next episode. But the idea... wow. Whoever thinks of these things is... where the fuck do they think of it. o_0;
And yeah, the romance part was really downplayed, which I enjoyed. But still kind of there. I love of Saki totally gets swept off her feet haha. But seriously, some of the scenes were mind numbingly cute. It made me annoyed how cute it was. D:<
Sadly, the 1st movie doesn't come out on DVD in Japan until like March 23. OTL. So I have to wait awhile for the subbing to come. ;_; Waaaaaaaaaaaaah. I'm thinking of watching Cowboy Bebop maybe, while I'm waiting? It is an iconic anime... so I really want to give it a try. :)
Oh, and I watched Jurassic Park again. Fuck is that an awesome movie. You know the part with the fat guy and the lizard guy? Scariest part of the movie for me when I was kid. It reminds me of a Call of Cthulhu game... hahahaa... seriously, Michael Cricton, you left us waaaaaaay too damn soon. Thank you for giving us such awesome ideas and movies. And for teaching us what would happen if dinosaurs and humans exists at the same time: CHAOS. D8
So yeah, gonna squeeze in an episode of Cowboy Bebop nao. Obaaaaaaaaaaaaaiii.
