btw, 1 year in demon = 35 human years

So I thought of another story idea (I know, what's wrong with me. I have so many story ideas, but no time to write them and actually have them sound decent).

Lenore Romilly, Known as Lee, is a 17 year old, laid back and honest nerd who lives in a relatively good neighborhood. Her parents are always away on business trips, so she ususally has the house all to herself. She has quite a few friends, but prefers to spend her time by herself, due to several issues she's trying to powe through, which she conceals.

And then she meets a black haired boy with red eyes, who seems to be stalking her. Not all pleased, she tells him to fuck off and all the usual jazz, only to come home and find out he lives next door. Like the total dork she is, she figures this all can't be a coicidence (due to the excessive amount of stories and such which start this way), and reluctantly hears what he has to say.

The boy is know as Cerberus Spiro (also known as Russ), 19 year old in demon years, but approximately 605 in human years. As you may of guessed, he's a demon, and he's chosen her to be his partner for a demon world competition. Since the king has no son of his own, he selected a group of orphaned demons to compete to be the prince - and therefore become the king once he has passed on.

Lee isn't a dumb shit. She figures that he won't leave her alone until she does, and asks what's in it for her. The human companion gets a wish granted by the demon king - and the losers have their souls devoured by their demon partner once they die. If the demon partner is still alive after the tournament.

Lee accepts, and Russ seals the contract with a black vine tattoo which wraps around her wrist, and grows up her arm as the team gains more power.

So henceforth, team 172 is formed. It turns out humans are granted certain psychic powers once they have entered a contract in the tournament, and that Lee was chosen because she is a "purple human". You see, humans can have 3 types of Aura. Red - for more demonic, Blue - for more angelic, and Purple - for the neutrals - extremely uncommon. As Purple is the most powerful, it is also the most unstable, as the person's choices, ideals, and minds determine the aura color.

So Lee is forced to balance the real world with the reality of mythical creatures, new super human powers, and her personal space always being invaded by Russ, as he is constantly by her side, even when she wants to be left the hell alone.

So yeah. the RussLee team I'm thinking of have a very interesting dynamic. I'm sort of excited for how this'll go. :P
