ALASKA LANDO

Just going to post what happened in Alaska.

Day 1;
Watching the Olympics right now. Computer also reallyyyy slow = 3 =;

I’m in Alaska right now @ my auntie Vivian’s house in Alaska. We’re really here to visit my grandpa. I don’t really remember him (and he doesn’t really remember us…). He looks so… old and broken. Earlier this year he had an accident…. His memory is really off… it’s so depressing. It almost breaks my heart… -sigh-

After we visited him, we went to this one bookstore in town & had really good bagel sandwich & hot cocoa. We drove around, visited the pipeline, and went back to visit Grandpa, came home & ate reallyyyy good Salmon. Uncle Ron made some really good stuff… :]

Grandpa’s junk yard is… amazing. So many army stuff… 1950’s army car, Overland train… it was so amazing. Catridges of bullets (lol), gigantic wheels… I mean just wow.

400 free relay (girl’s) right now! GOOO USAAAA

We’re sleeping the loft right now. It’s sooooo warmmm… <3

Dude, it’s 10:35 here, but the sun’s just setting! O___O;;

Alaska’s crazy, but the air is so clear and it’s reallyyy green… :3

Aw man, only second… oh well… Need to go to bed now. Nighy Nights! :3

Day 2;
NATALIE COUGHLIN IN THE SEMIFINALS FOR 100M BACK. Yay, she got second.

Second day in Alaska. Woke up earlier today, went to visit Grandpa in the morning. Then we went to Church (MOST BORING EXPERIENCE EVER. Sorry, Uncle Ron. It’s boring. Won’t deny it). Then we went to this reallyyy good buffet place. Their fondue fountain failed. Lawl. Pineapple + Chocolate = BAD.

Then we visited the Museum in the Uinversity of Alaska. Cool exhibits…Got a Caribou Bone necklace. It looks like a heart, and it’s got a string through to middle (which is bone). The Campus is really pretty… during the summer. :3

We saw some of the Muskox that the University of Alaska owns. They were so cute… :3

We went to see Grandpa again & had dinner with him. Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Ham & Gravy. Pretty good, but the Potatoes need more butter. :[

He walked around outside a little, and I picked some flowers for him. Everyone wanted me to give them to him, but I didn’t want to.

I mean, if you tell them that you picked them, it kind of loses value. It’s like you pick them to get something. I like it better when they realize it’s there better. It’s really hard to explain… I wish they understood…

We also visited Alaskaland. A little bit like a fair, we had ice cream, and… did stuff.

Watching the Olympics still. YAYS. HAHAHAHAHAHA I LOVE SWIM >:D

GO MICHAEL PHELPSSSSSSS. Haha, Hansen sucked. xD

… I have SOOOO many practical jokes I’m going to play when I get back. Ho ho ho ho…

Day 3;
Woke up early today. Dropped Vivian off @ work, and we went to Gulliver’s to eat breakfast & went on the internet for a bit.

Stopped by Grandpa’s to take him to the hospital. It was really nice to see him smile when I brought him more flowers & I smiled at him sometimes.

Went to Denny’s for lunch with Grandpa @ Denny’s. He ate his entire meal! It took a long time, but he ate it all. They dropped him off at home as me and mom and Raymond walked to Sears, then went to ice cream.

Came home and had this WONDERFUL Chicken. I had 3 pieces, and wanted more.

Sorry, watching Olympics. I’m done for the day. Tomorrow is the hot springs. Tell ya more tomorrow :3

Day 4;
I fail @ pressing flowers = 3 =;

Went to the Hot springs early today. Felt soooooo gooood <3. The rock pond was the beest. I only went in once, but still… Yay :3

Lunch was an amazing clam cowder and Caramel apple pie. The waiter was really friendly, and pretty funny.

Went back to Grandpas, picked more flowers than him. He walked outside a little. He seems so nice… it’s sad I haven’t known him longer…

Got home, pressed flowers after walking to the river with Sophy. She’s a nice dog too.
